Hello!
Hello, I am Mark Starr
and you've reached zero.peachcountry.com, the website for my fun
car "Zero".
So what's special about my car? Well, for one thing its different
from the average run of the mill thing you see on the street every day.
"Zero" is painted up to look like
the famous Japanese fighter aircraft of World War II, the Zero "A6M2
Zero-Sen".
The Story - how this came to pass
For over ten years I drove this car as a plain white boring bean can of
a car... it was so reliable I could never bring myself to replace
it. Since it was a Japanese car I wanted (in the back of my mind)
to paint it up like the Zero fighter (since some could say I drive like
a fighter pilot and kamikazi to boot).
One day this week (5/10/2001), I thought, lets do it, lets have some
fun. Three days and $20 worth of magical Walmart paint later the
deed has been done and you can see the final result here.
I took a forth day to photograph the results and create this website
(things are easy to do when they are fun and you enjoy what you are doing
- a mantra to live by).
